Updated software packages are now available for:

The bundles contain updates to the Windows 32Bit and 64Bit ASIO/MIDI drivers; addressing performance improvements and fixes for known issues in the v2.9 beta driver.
Copies of the latest Audio and MIDI Firmware updates are also included.

To download the latest software for your XONE interface, go to the links HERE

Please remember to take the time to view the ReadMe pdf document included with the bundle before updating the software for your XONE

We hope this helps.

Finally!
Installing driver (Windows XP 32 bit) didn’t go flawless. Nevertheless it’s running. Have to see for how long … But it looks good!

An XP 32-bit driver has always been available - why do you say finally?

But there's no mention of what the problem you had was, so we can't suggest possible solutions to the issue and other end-users will remain none the wiser.

It'd help to tell the forum what didn't go so smoothly with your update.

Thanks

This isn't a firmware update for the DX right?

No, firmware updates for the DX are made within the Itch application with each new release of the software.

Please see the 'Xone Software Update Readme' PDF document bundled with the software update package for more details on this procedure.

Ok, thanks!
So this will not have any effect on the audio interface
of the DX and the output level I believe!?

I'm asking, because I have a open ticket regarding quite
low output level, but didn't hear back since 2 weeks now.

‘Finally’, because I have being messing around (trying to make it work properly) with the Xone 2D soundcard far too long. Chancing settings, reinstalling the drivers, Traktor, XP, ‘clearwatering’ XP, scraping the internet for a solution, contacting helpdesks, and almost thinking an Audio8 with a Kontrol X1 would have been a better choice. That’s why.

I have got it running (Traktor Pro, Xone 2D) for more than 18 hours now and haven’t been disappointed yet. 4 decks, 4 effect bank working, 5 different midi controllers connected, no problem.
Love it!

With A&H Support, or on the Serato Itch forums?

If you can tell us the ticket number, or URL of the thread we'll have a look into why you've not had a reply.

Thanks

‘Not flawless’, because it wasn’t clear for me if I should follow the Windows instructions (new hardware found etc.) too. Proved to be a yes. Secondly, after finishing installation, a window stays open, not telling what to do next. So desperate Xone 2D users like me tend to wait for a hour, then shutdown controller power again, restart anyway and in the end breakdown and cry. Just shut the window and start an application is all you've got to do.

But (as mentioned), I have got it running (Windows XP, Traktor Pro, Xone 2D) for more than 18 hours now and it's still going strong.

Yoerie

Why post this in a XONE:DX thread? These issues aren't relevant here.
Please note that if you're having issues with your XONE:2D please post in the relevant forum, or submit a help ticket.

It sounds like everything's running OK for you now in any case, but if you're looking for info on why your own experience doesn't match details in the Read Me notes, re-post.

Thanks

A&H...

FYI: The last post for x64 beta users from A&H directed us all to this forum after the beta forum was closed for updates.
2D, 4D, DX etc. we are all being sent here for updates regarding the new drivers.

Please redirect us if this is not specific to the new drivers and only specific to DX.

I think I've found the 4D section here... http://www.xone.co.uk/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=3605&PN=1&TP N=1

Thanks
Eccentric

@ DJ Eccentric

OK, thanks for the heads-up.

For XONE:2D, go HERE

For XONE:4D, go HERE

or click on the Xone Forums link at the top of the page and choose the link for your product from the list.

There's an update notice for each D Series interface posted as an IMPORTANT TOPIC.

Hope this helps.
