For current information relating to Windows7 drivers for the Xone D Series mixers, please see the compatibility statement published online at the following link:
http://www.xone.co.uk/drivers/

Future releases
Our developers are working on 64bit drivers with enhanced 32bit emulation within 64bit environments. We hope to release these in the first quarter of 2010.

so hopefully they should be out within the next 2 months. although the 'we hope' bit makes me think it will be more like spring 2013

A&H,

Can we make W7 32bit emulation in 64bit OS a Sticky Topic?

My Brother just upgraded from Vista x32 to W7 x64.
He said Traktor Pro runs amazing on W7x64...

If only there were a compatible 4D driver...

Keep hope alive!!!

Hi all -

We realise raising our heads above this particular parapet might just open the floodgates to vehement rage at our perceived absence, but bear with us on this one.

Xone:D Series drivers compatibility information HERE remains current and already addresses this thread's original topic.

On-going 'statements' aren't forthcoming on a day-to-day, or weekly, basis because our remit isn't as full-time moderator on these forums at present. Established systems are in place for contacting A&H Tech Support; this is noted above the Post Reply field and has been pointed out previously in this thread, as well as in direct communication with users.

We don't have a problem with peer-to-peer comment on the matter as a whole, as long as a reasonable level of decorum is maintained - we're not adverse to objective criticism, but our view on responding to much of the more general 'discussion' here, has also been posted.

Having said this, we do have more info...

Software testers are running tests on new drivers to resolve x64 emulation issues and news looks positive, although some minor bugs remain that're currently being ironed out.
Having discussed various options with R&D and management, we'd like to make a 'public beta' of this driver available to users at this time.

Consequently updated, beta, Windows7 x64 drivers for Xone:2D, Xone:3D and Xone:4D will be posted, with known issues published, as a new Sticky Topic on the forums, this week.

This does mean a weekend to put them through their paces before we can gauge, or reply to, your initial impressions - so caution will be advised against installing the driver for your next gig - however, we believe a release, at this stage, enables us to demonstrate that Allen&Heath are aware of your frustrations, that the compatibility statement note on future releases is accurate and, more importantly, that it might also offer an opportunity for users to provide, constructive, feedback on the updated driver's performance, prior to forthcoming full release.

Hope this helps.

XONE:4D Win7x64 driver v2.9.10 BETA

We advise caution when running any beta software -
if you have a gig this evening, don't install the driver just before you go.

The thread here will now closed - constructive feedback is welcome on the new 'BETA' thread.

We hope this helps
