Hi there,

tried to hook my 1D up to the Vista notebook running the 1D Analyzer Software - I get a "There was an error initialising the selected ASIO driver" error (window title "XONE 3D USB ASIO driver" and the program exits... while I'm pretty sure that this ASIO stuff only concerns the 3D and 2D with its soundcard components, I'm wondering about this error since the analyzer can explicitely be downloaded with a 1D analyzer tutorial video?!

Anyone managed to run it properly?

I've just got the same error here, under XP.

It's pretty stupid for it to complain about a 3D driver when there isn't a 3D on the system!

I managed to get to the bottom of this, with the aid of A&H support.

Basically it's due to the 'xone analyser.ini' file in the installation directory.

It should only contain a [midi] section and a [xone 1d] section. Any references to [xone 2d] etc should be removed.

You'll then find that the app starts up correctly.

I did ask support to post this info here, but it looks like they didn't, so there you go!
